ILS researchers at the RGS-IBG Annual International Conference in London
ILS researchers from the “Mobility and Space” research group attended the RGS-IBG Annual International Conference in London in early September. Dr. Thomas Klinger, Theresa Milde, Angelina Atanova and Suyash Shérékar delivered a total of three presentations on the topic of urban mobility. Suyash Shérékar reported on the TRANSFORM project and presented a review study on behaviour, the built environment, policy and perceptions relating to children’s journeys to school. Theresa Milde’s presentation from the Share4Equity project focused on equity in shared mobility: conceptual fragmentation, new perspectives and a new analytical framework. In her presentation, Angelina Atanova discussed how public acceptance and mobility behaviour can be shaped through reversibility and participation. The contributions from the research group covered a variety of topics including Street Transformations, children’s mobilities, evaluation of shared mobility services and the question of Justice. You can find more highlights from the conference here.
