Two exciting project years are coming to an end. On 6 May, the CATCH4D final workshop took place at the City of Dortmund\u2019s Environmental Agency. Together with numerous stakeholders from the City of Dortmund and other co-operation partners, the individual project results, activities and experiences were once again reflected upon and critically discussed.<\/p>\n

One of the highlights was the first presentation of the completed 3D thermography WebGIS. This will be available to the participating offices of the City of Dortmund for planning and energy consulting purposes once the project has been completed. In addition to presentations of the individual project elements and research results, the programme also included two world caf\u00e9s on the topics of \u2018heat adaptation\u2019 and \u2018energy-efficient refurbishment\u2019. In small groups, all participants had the opportunity to describe their impressions of the success of the project and the synergies between research and practice based on a number of key questions.<\/p>\n

In addition to the impressions of CATCH4D, the workshop was enriched by guest lectures. Thorsten Stock (RVR) spoke on the topic of \u2018Data-driven climate adaptation\u2019. Vanessa Reinhart (Ruhr University Bochum) and Stefan Schmidt (Leibniz University Hannover) reported on the sister project Data2Resilience, which is also funded by the ICLEI Action Fund 2.0.
