Our aim is to create an environment for research and working that recognizes and supports the individual life phases of our employees.<\/p>\n<p>Our commitment includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Flexible working time models to better balance work and family life<\/li>\n<li>Teleworking in cases of care needs or unforeseen family circumstances<\/li>\n<li>Home office and mobile working arrangements<\/li>\n<li>Sabbaticals for extended breaks during special life situations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As early as May 2011, we joined the corporate network \u201cErfolgsfaktor Familie\u201d. This initiative promotes a family-friendly working environment and provides practical information as well as best-practice examples.<\/p>\n<p>Since autumn 2022, we do also participate in the federal state programme \u201cReconciling Work and Care in North Rhine-Westphalia\u201d and are a signatory to the Charter on Work-Care Reconciliation. Through this, we assume responsibility for demographic change and the needs of employees with caregiving responsibilities.<\/p>\n<p>Until the end of 2025, we used the \u201caudit berufundfamilie\u201d as an instrument to implement concrete measures.
