With a total of some 44,000 titles and around 150 current journals, the ILS library is one of Germany’s largest specialist libraries for spatial planning. It is a chained library and is available for use by the professional public during the opening hours stated below.

Areas of specialisation:

Key literature on spatial development and planning, metropolisation, regionalisation, mobility behaviour, social-space dynamics and social integration, building stock and settlement structures. Other specialisations reflect the ILS’s current research programme.

Opening hours:

Monday – Thursday, 09.00 – 15.30, Friday 09.00 Uhr – 12.30 Uhr
